TOUR DESCRIPTION
Begin your day with a 7:30 am pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai, or opt for an earlier 7:00 am pickup if you'd like to explore the vibrant Sanpatong Buffalo Market on Saturdays. Your journey takes you to the summit of Thailand's highest mountain, where you'll enjoy a refreshing short walk along the Angkha Nature Trail, surrounded by lush greenery and cool mountain air. Next, visit the elegant Royal Pagodas, standing as symbols of reverence for the King and Queen, before setting off on the Mae Klang Luang Trail. This longer walk offers a deeper immersion into the area's natural beauty, leading you through serene rice paddies that are especially enchanting when in season.
As you continue, you'll arrive at the picturesque Pa Dok Siew Waterfall, a tranquil spot perfect for relaxation. A visit to a nearby Karen village offers insight into the daily life of the Karen people, providing an authentic cultural experience without the touristy long-neck attraction. After enjoying a delicious lunch, the tour takes you to the awe-inspiring Wachiratharn Waterfall, where the powerful cascade creates a stunning spectacle. Note: A good level of fitness will be required to complete the trek. The trek involves walking up and down steep paths and along jungle tracks. This trek will not be suitable for the elderly.
