The magnificent Doi Inthanon is Northern Thailand's most beautiful national park, home to the country's tallest peak, several hill tribal settlements, and incredible fauna and flora.
TOUR DESCRIPTION
Your trip will begin in the morning when your guide and driver pick you up from your hotel. Our first stop will be at Wat Prathat Sri Chom Tong, which is a few kilometers from the park's entrance. This is a significant temple that houses a number of Buddhist relics. We'll next travel to the summit of Doi Inthanon, Thailand's highest peak. On the way, you'll stop at the King and Queen Chedis, where you may take in the breathtaking views of the park. Two of the park's most beautiful cascading waterfalls (Wachiritharn and Siritharn), as well as a Karen hill tribal village and the Royal project research center, will be seen. You'll also go for a pleasant nature walk around the Angkha Nature Trail. This walk will take place at a height of around 2500 meters, where you will be able to view distinct flora and wildlife as well as appreciate the cool air which is rare to find in Thailand. You will be escorted to the local Hmong hill tribe market on the way down where fresh and preserved fruit and vegetable are sold which have been grown locally.
On Saturday we will pass the Sanpatong Buffalo Market. Please let us know if you would like to stop by and see this colorful local livestock market, there is no extra charge but you will need to be prepared to leave a little earlier at 07:00 am. Please let us know on the booking form.
