TOUR DESCRIPTION
Chiang Mai's most renowned and iconic temple, Doi Suthep, is located at 1685 meters on a tiny sub-peak of Doi Pui mountain. The temple's official name is Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, and it offers breathtaking views of Chiang Mai and beyond. After our tour to Doi Suthep, we'll return down the twisting road to Baan Tong Luang, where we'll see the Five Hill Tribe Exhibition Village. Members of the Karen Long Neck (Padaung) tribe, as well as members of the Akha and Lahu groups, live in this village, among others. After a relaxing lunch break, you will have the choice of visiting The Tiger Kingdom, where you will be able to interact and be photographed with adult tigers or tiger cubs. Before being transported back to your Chiang Mai hotel, you will be taken to the Thai Orchid and Butterfly Farm as well as the San Kamphaeng district to see manufacturers of famous Thai and Chiang Mai products such as Celadon ceramics, silk items, paper umbrellas, and more.
