TOUR DESCRIPTION
For a one-of-a-kind "elephant carer for a day" experience, come to Patara Elephant Farm. This one-on-one (or two-on-one) session will provide you with a unique perspective on the present status of Thai elephants and how we can help them. In essence, you'll learn and practice what an elephant caretaker would learn and do to keep an elephant healthy and happy. You'll learn how to approach and engage your elephants, do elephant health checks and activities, exercise, feed, bathe, and brush your elephant in the river, and much more. Then you'll learn a number of strategies for interacting with elephants and riding on their necks. The journey takes place near Chiang Mai, in a beautiful mountain range. The training is conducted in English by qualified staff and elephant carers. Come along with Patara on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
