4-Day Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai Highlights Tour

Day 1 – Wat Umong & Doi Suthep Temple by Night

Your evening adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in Chiang Mai before heading up the scenic Doi Pui mountain. Hidden within the forest at its base lies Wat Umong, a 700-year-old temple famous for its serene atmosphere, mysterious underground tunnels, and towering chedi. The twilight hours make this visit truly special, as the soft light enhances the temple’s tranquil beauty. Nearby, a field of ancient, timeworn Buddha statues adds to the mystical ambiance. Next, you’ll visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most iconic temple. Visiting in the evening offers a peaceful experience after the crowds have gone, with breathtaking views of the illuminated city below — a magical way to end your first day.

Day 2 – Elephant Care & Jungle Trekking Adventure

An early start takes you to the lush Mae Wang region, just an hour outside Chiang Mai. En route, enjoy a brief stop at a local Thai market for a morning coffee or snack. Your first stop is an ethical elephant camp, where you’ll spend two to three hours interacting with these gentle giants — feeding, bathing, and playing with them in the water and mud. Afterward, enjoy a bamboo rafting experience along a scenic jungle river — a peaceful and refreshing way to take in the natural beauty. A delicious Thai lunch follows before beginning your three-hour trek through rice paddies and dense forest, visiting two waterfalls along the way — one perfect for swimming most of the year. Expect to return to Chiang Mai by around 6:00 p.m., relaxed and full of great memories.

Day 3 – Chiang Rai Temples & Singha Park Tour

Today’s journey takes you north to Chiang Rai, beginning with a stop at Mae Kha Jan Hot Springs, where you can stretch your legs, enjoy coffee, and even boil eggs in the naturally hot water.
Next is the world-famous White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) — a dazzling, all-white architectural masterpiece that shimmers in the sunlight. You’ll then visit the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten), where rich sapphire hues and intricate designs create a striking contrast. Finally, explore Wat Huay Pla Kang, home to a majestic nine-tier pagoda and a towering Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
After lunch, unwind at Singha Park, a scenic countryside attraction featuring tea plantations, orchid gardens, and a small petting zoo — a peaceful end to your day in Chiang Rai.

Day 4 – Thai Cooking Experience at Asia Scenic School
